The American government “is using its power to intimidate, prosecute and prevent government employees from sharing information about state officials’ misconduct”, insists Stephen Kohn, attorney and author of The Whistleblower's Handbook.

­This attack on whistleblowers in America is an attack on fundamental freedom of speech, “preventing the American people from learning about the abuses of their government,” warned the attorney.

“The doctrine of the state secret privilege in the US puts a censorship veil over everything you want to blow a whistle on.” 

Former CIA Officer John Kiriakou, who was the first official to confirm the waterboarding of terrorist suspects, has been indicted for repeatedly disclosing sensitive information to journalists.
The same law was also used against whistleblower Bradley Manning, the army private who handed secret documents to Wikileaks.

A massive quake off the west coast of Indonesia sent fears across the country, prompting residents in coastal cities to rush to higher ground. A tsunami that followed a similar quake in 2004 killed nearly 230,000 people, most of them in Indonesia.

The Aceh region, which lost over 170,000 people in the 2004 disaster, was paralyzed with traffic jams soon after the first tremor on Wednesday, measured 8.6 magnitude.

Chaos reigned in streets as many towns along the coast line were full of shoppers stocking up before the traditional New Year on Friday. Locals poured from their homes screaming “God is great” as they searched frantically for family members.

India is in the center of a big secret inside debate. On one side the largest democracy of the world is enthusiastic to make clear to its people and to the world concerning the current contacts with the UFOs and extra-terrestrials. On the other hand there are invisible innumerable international protocols that forbid doing anything that may cause worldwide fear and panic.It is well received between the UFO and extra-terrestrial experts that all the fivenuclear powers are in touch with the beings from other stars for pretty long time. Freshly India has seen huge news on UFO links and secret UFO bases in Himalayas near the Chinese bases.
