Fun Post: Feliks Zemdegs achieves world record for solving a 7x7 Rubik’s Cube

Solving a 7x7 Rubik's Cube In Just Over Two Minutes Is Miraculous

By: Andrew Liszewski

Yesterday Australia’s Feliks Zemdegs managed to break the world record for solving a 7x7 Rubik’s Cube in just over two minutes and twenty-three seconds. For those of us who still have trouble just zipping up a jacket, watching him spin and unscramble this cube is incomprehensible.

Once the scrambled mess was revealed, Feliks just needed a few moments to look over the cube before diving right in and solving it. And it’s not like he was working in complete silence either. There were other contestants milling around, and an announcer on an intercom all serving as distractions. But that didn’t stop Feliks from doing what he does best, and in record time.
