Sargent Clifford Stone is an exceptional case within the annals of secret space program history due to the unique nature of his organic contact with extraterrestrial beings. From a very early age, Stone began to have contact with a group of extraterrestrials he calls "visitors." This contact occurred through an entity he initially thought was an imaginary friend but later discovered there was something else taking place. Somehow the military industrial complex learned Stone was having ongoing contact with otherworldly beings and began to watch him closely.

As a young man, Stone was keen to join the armed service so he could patriotically serve his country. In 1968, shortly after he graduated high school, while the Vietnam war raged, he was contacted by the draft board in his area and told to report to the Armed Forces Entrance Examination Station in Ashland, Kentucky. Stone was examined last at the request of the Captain and Doctor, who knew he had medical issues and suggested he tour the DC area to avoid disqualification.
