President Obama: "NO! I DON'T THINK MR SNOWDEN IS A PATRIOT!"

I find it quite surprising after listening to this press conference that Obama is trying to take credit for "transparency" of NSA spying on the citizens of the world.  The only reason this is happening is because Snowden is outing the government corruption.  So again, how is it that Obama is trying to take credit for increased transparency of NSA and Government Spying?
